The Intelligence Suite: Neuro-Symbolic Sovereignty
The Intelligence Suite is the research department dedicated to the fusion of deterministic logic and generative intelligence. We recognize that while the AI landscape of the last few years has been dominated by massive, cloud-bound models, the future of sovereign engineering lies in the ability to run high-performance intelligence locally. Here, we document our work in deploying and orchestrating Local Large Language Models (LLMs) on our own asymmetric GPU hardware, ensuring that our data and our "thinking" never leave our perimeter.
Our primary focus is the development of a neuro-symbolic ecosystem. We use the fluid, conversational power of LLMs to provide a human interface to our systems, but we ground that intelligence in the absolute "Truth Engine" of SWI-Prolog. This bridge allows us to eliminate the common problem of AI hallucinations; the neural model proposes ideas, but the symbolic logic engine validates them against our own curated data archives and rules. In this suite, we explore the benchmarks of our Go-Prolog bridges and the specialized RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines we use to feed the OpenAlex data suite into our local models.
We also investigate the hardware and software orchestration required to make this intelligence sustainable. We document our use of "Just-in-Time" inference—provisioning GPU resources only when they are needed to manage our power budget without sacrificing response times. As we move away from "black-box" AI dependencies, we provide the blueprints for a local intelligence that is both fluent and fundamentally verifiable. This is the department where we prove that a sovereign lab can be both logical and intelligent, without compromising the integrity of the data it protects.
